Senior Piping Engineer/Construction Jobs in Dammam, Saudi Arabia at China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corp. ME
Position: Senior Piping Engineer (Construction)
Ensure the register of equipment tags for identifying all items of equipment for entry into P&’s.
Review P&’s, and ensure correct copies are provided to the subcontractors.
Function as coordinator between Engineering & Construction/Commissioning managing company external resources and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated schedules.
Produce timely reports for the Construction Teams for prompt execution of piping works.
Apply solid construction judgment at all times and ensure current and future codes, procedures and standards are adhered to.
Provide guidance to the Planning engineer at the site.
Compile / distribute comprehensive piping progress reports and expectations.
Participate in piping/mechanical constructability and planning activities for all brownfield work scopes.
Communicate with contractors and site leaders about expectations of quality and delivery and assuring that it is achieved.
Ensure compliance with International Standards, Legislation & Company Standards.
Ability to solve problems and obtain the best value from our resource pool to support the delivery of activities.
Developed locals Staff members and contractors to meet standard and carried out reviews for constructability.
Offer assistance in the administration of the project change procedure also appraises third party estimates for changes. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of engineering contractor project control information.
Scrutinize contractor resources to ensure the availability and appliance of qualified staff effectively as well as generate timely payment to contractors for verification and approval of work invoices.
Structure construction work packs, improve method of statement, administer projects cycle and construction documentation for delivery of dossier and project completion.
Skills
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector
Minimum of 5 years of experience on ARAMCO Oil and Gas field projects.
Diploma or Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering Degree
Good Knowledge of Brownfield field Piping Construction work
Should have good knowledge about piping interface with other disciplines
Good knowledge of construction field safety
