Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Operations Executive with a strong background in ship chandlery, specifically in technical stores supply. The ideal candidate will have 5‑7 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of marine procurement, inventory management, and vessel supply operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end operations for ship chandlery supplies with a focus on technical stores.
- Coordinate with vessels, clients, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Source, procure, and maintain inventory of technical marine equipment and spare parts.
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and handle documentation efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with marine standards and client specifications.
- Monitor stock levels and optimize inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Liaise with logistics teams for smooth delivery and port operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure high service quality.
Requirements
- 5‑7 years of experience in ship chandlery, preferably handling technical stores.
- Strong knowledge of marine equipment, spare parts, and procurement processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
