Senior Network Security Engineer Jobs in Dubai, UAE/Dubai at Moro Hub

We are seeking a Lead Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in firewall design, network security architecture, and secure connectivity solutions. This role will lead security initiatives, drive complex migrations, and ensure robust, scalable, and compliant enterprise security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPN, and device hardening.
  • Own firewall architecture, policy governance, and security best practices across the organization.
  • Configure and manage firewall rules, NAT, routing, policies, and security profiles across multiple platforms.
  • Plan, lead, and document infrastructure upgrades, hardware replacements, migrations, and service enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain secure IPSec connectivity with customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and intrusion detection monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues using packet capture and deep protocol analysis.
  • Manage and optimize centralized firewall management tools.
  • Lead VPN migrations from legacy environments to next-generation firewall (NGFW) platforms.
  • Define and evaluate security requirements aligned with business strategies and compliance standards.
  • Implement preventive and reactive security controls, including key management and incident response support.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support to junior engineers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation for implementation, operational support, and audit/compliance needs.
  • Support and manage authentication systems using RADIUS, TACACS+, and related protocols.

Experience & Job-Specific Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in network security and firewall technologies.
  • Strong expertise in firewall platforms such as Cisco FTD/ASA, Fortinet Forti Gate, Palo Alto, and Check Point.
  • Experience with firewall management tools such as Forti Manager, Panorama, and Fire Mon.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, packet flow analysis, and advanced network troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies including STP, VTP, ARP, RARP, OSPF, BGP, Port‑Channel, and LACP.
  • Extensive experience with NAT, ACLs, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec VPNs, Intrusion Prevention Systems, and malware prevention solutions.
  • Proven experience in security architecture design, device hardening, and enterprise‑level deployments.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and security compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCIE Security or equivalent advanced security certifications.
