Senior Network and Security Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Malomatia
We are looking for a Senior Network and Security Engineer to join our Network & Security Operations Center (NSOC). The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of hands‑on experience managing Huawei network and security infrastructure
, including routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Huawei routers (NE/AR), switches (S5700/S6700/Cloud Engine), and firewalls (USG
6000 series). - Provide 24×7 NOC support, including incident response, troubleshooting, and ITIL‑compliant change management.
- Implement and manage security solutions: firewall policies, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and Seco Manager.
- Maintain configuration backups, firmware updates, patches, and version control.
- Create technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and performance reports.
- Work with multi‑vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and support cloud & automation initiatives (Azure/AWS, Python, Bash, Ansible, Power Shell).
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
- HCIE‑Datacom / HCIE‑Security or HCIP‑Datacom with HCIP‑Security; additional certifications like CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, PCNSE, NSE 4–7, CISSP, ITIL Foundation are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS) and switching (VLANs, STP, LACP, VXLAN).
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and English communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shift rotations for 24×7 NOC operations and provide on‑call support.
