Role Description
The Senior Mortgage Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for guiding clients through the complete mortgage process. Day-to-day activities include assessing client financial profiles, recommending suitable mortgage products, and providing clear explanations of terms, rates, and eligibility criteria. The role involves managing applications from pre-approval to completion, liaising with banks and developers, and ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
The Senior Mortgage Advisor will also support mortgage marketing initiatives, build a strong referral network, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE mortgage regulations and market trends. This position requires consistent client interaction, proactive follow-up, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality advisory experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Mortgages and Finance, with the ability to interpret financial information and recommend appropriate lending solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning to help clients understand affordability, long-term repayment impacts, and overall financial health.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Mortgage Marketing, with experience promoting mortgage services and building client and partner networks.
- Candidates should possess CeMap Qualified or an equivalent recognized mortgage advisory certification, with a solid understanding of relevant regulations.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
- Candidates should possess strong negotiation, relationship management, and customer service skills, ideally with prior experience as a mortgage advisor or in banking/financial services.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using CRM systems and basic office software, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred; fluency in English is required, and Arabic language skills are an advantage.
