Middleware Administrator (Web Sphere Application Server, HCL Portal, IBM BPM, Data Power & Open Shift)
Requirements
Installation, Configuration, and Administration of Web Sphere Application Server (V9.x), HCL Portal (V9.0.x), WCM (V9.0.x), Data Power (V10.0.x), and BPM (V8.6.x).
Troubleshooting WAS, HCL Portal, Data Power, and BPM issues.
IBM BPM installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting, including Process Center, Process Server, and JVMs.
Hands-on experience with cluster setup, upgrade, and migration processes.
Day-to-day business support including deployment, performance tuning, and handling application server issues.
Expertise in Web Sphere Portal Server administration along with WCM.
Familiarity with syndication, subscription mechanisms, and WCM administration.
Experience in setting up portal horizontal clusters and upgrading/migrating environments from lower to higher versions along with applications.
Production support skills for the IBM portal environment.
Working knowledge of Linux.
Knowledge of industry best practices for HCL Portal, Data Power, WAS, and BPM.
Knowledge of at least one web server like IBM HTTP Server and its integration with HCL Portal.
Understanding of project management techniques and practices.
Experience in administration and configuration management tasks.
Good troubleshooting skills and monitoring activities.
Strong knowledge in Data Power firmware upgrades.
File management, Data Power extension functions.
Creating users, domains, and access restrictions.
Responsible for migrating services from sandbox to development, QA, and production environments.
Error handling and logging in Data Power.
Hands-on experience with AAA (authentication, authorization, auditing) and customization of AAA policies.
Experience in SSL proxy configuration and certificate management.
Good knowledge of administration of Red Hat Open Shift Cluster.
Familiarity with installation and configuration of Open Shift and its components.
Familiarity with Cloud Pak for Integration installation and deployment.

General Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of total experience, with at least 6+ years relevant experience as an admin involving installations, upgrades, deployment, support, and troubleshooting of middleware products such as WAS, HCL Portal, BPM, and Data Power.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Relevant certifications preferred.
Proven skills and experience in similar roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex technical information concisely.
