Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have more than 10 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in the oil & gas, industrial, or heavy equipment sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on rotating and static equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Conduct inspections and identify equipment defects.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned work.
- Prepare maintenance reports and documentation.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician.
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, gearboxes, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or industrial maintenance is an advantage.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
