About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Mechanical Site Engineer to join our growing MEP team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all mechanical site activities, ensuring project execution is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and construction schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of mechanical installations.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other project disciplines.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare work schedules, material requests, and manpower planning.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
- Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure all mechanical systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over successfully.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in MEP contracting, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
- Strong experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or mixed-use building projects.
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and building services systems.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards, local authority regulations, and international codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
