We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (MEP) with strong contracting experience to join a leading construction team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience delivering high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects and can manage site coordination and design execution efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and coordinate mechanical drawings and project deliverables
• Evaluate and oversee HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting system designs
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and main contractors
• Prepare detailed shop drawings for submission and execution
• Perform engineering calculations to support design and site activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Work closely with the Project Manager to improve efficiency and profitability
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8+ years of MEP contracting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and design principles
• Proven experience in high-end construction projects
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to join immediately or on short notice. 6 days/week (as per project schedule)
