Job Description:
Gouveia Trading Co. is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems and processes to enhance our operational capabilities and ensure efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems based on project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of engineering solutions.
- Perform testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff to foster professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a trading or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, fabrication processes, and materials.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Salary:
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from 50 -* 100 QAR*, based on experience and qualifications.
