Position Overview:

The Logistics Senior Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the logistics security function within our organization. With a proven track record of leadership in logistics security, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping and executing comprehensive security strategies, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a high-level logistics security strategy aligned with organizational goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a secure and safe logistics environment.

Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities to logistics operations, developing and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.

Security Measures: Oversee the implementation and management of advanced security measures, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems, to protect assets, facilities, and inventory.

Incident Response Planning: Develop and maintain sophisticated incident response plans, ensuring the organization is well-prepared to handle security incidents or breaches.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, and global security regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

Executive Reporting: Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to executive leadership, summarizing logistics security performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Security Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures, identify areas for improvement, and ensure ongoing compliance.

Vendor and Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with external security service providers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to enhance logistics security.

Budget Management: Contribute to the development and management of the logistics security budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient security operations.

Qualification and Experience:

Extensive experience in logistics security, with a significant track record of leadership.

In-depth knowledge of security regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
