Objective:

Supervising the opening and closing of bank accounts in banks in various currencies for executive bodies, in addition to supervising all operations related to the signing powers for bank accounts of authorized persons for all executive bodies and coordinating with banks regarding financial transfers as well as following up on bank statements to make daily and monthly reconciliations.

Essential Duties:

  • Contribute to developing the department's strategy and ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and the overall objectives of the Department of Finance.
  • Contribute to developing the department's policies and procedures covering all areas of work, to achieve compliance with internal controls and to provide high-quality and cost-effective services.
  • Supervise the opening and closing of bank accounts with banks for various types of foreign currencies for the department and executive bodies and manage the transfer of amounts to bank accounts of executive bodies and provide cash amounts in foreign currencies.
  • Supervise all operations related to opening, closing and amending signing powers for bank accounts for all executive bodies.
  • Ensure the analysis, follow-up and recording of all revenue movements and others and ensure their collection and deposit into the department's account.
  • Supervise the bank accounts of executive bodies and conduct bank settlements and reconciliations for them.
  • Ensure coordination and communication with banks to ensure follow-up of bank accounts of executive bodies.
  • Provide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other related tasks assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Preferred 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar field/position.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance or accounting or equivalent in a similar field that is appropriate for the job duties.
  • It is preferable to obtain a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate.
