We are hiring experienced Senior Manager – Architect Engineer for Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Projects.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Architect Engineer will oversee all architectural design, coordination, and delivery activities for ABL-KSA’s building and hospitality projects. The role demands a visionary yet detail-oriented professional who can manage design teams, engage with clients, review engineering drawings, and ensure all architectural outputs meet Saudi Building Code (SBC), Municipality, and client requirements across active and upcoming projects in the Kingdom.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead architectural design, review, and approval processes for building projects across KSA.
• Manage and mentor a team of architects, designers, and draftsmen.
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, and landscape engineering disciplines.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and design change requests.
• Ensure all designs comply with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Municipality regulations, and client specifications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, PMCs, and authorities on design matters.
• Manage design program, deliverables schedule and drawing register.
• Lead design workshops, client presentations, and value engineering sessions.
• Oversee BIM model coordination for architectural elements in collaboration with the BIM team.
• Support tendering activities with architectural input, BOQs, and specifications.
• Prepare and review design reports, architectural statements, and as-built documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture (B.Arch.) from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree in architecture
• Certifications in related field

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Riyadh Municipality regulations.
• Excellent design sensibility combined with strong technical detailing skills.
• Proficiency in BIM-based design workflows and IFC coordination.
• Strong presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 15 years in architectural design and project management with at least 5 years in KSA/GCC.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale hospitality, commercial, or infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
