Job Summary:
Narwhal Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Accountant to manage and oversee financial transactions related to freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics accounting, ensuring financial accuracy, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile financial records for logistics operations, including freight, warehousing, customs, and transportation expenses.
Prepare, process, and review invoices, billing statements, and payment records.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Track logistics costs and revenue, identifying areas for financial optimization.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports related to logistics activities.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and industry standards.
Work closely with operations and finance teams to streamline accounting processes.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for logistics projects.
Process bank reconciliations, audits, and financial settlements.
Support management with cost analysis and financial insights for decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
Strong knowledge of logistics cost structures, customs duties, and freight charges.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and ERP systems.
Experience in VAT, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
