The Senior IT Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role will involve collaborating withcross-functional teamsto identify technology requirements, recommending solutions, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive experience with IT infrastructure and networking, and a passion for drivingcontinuous improvementandinnovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain the company’s IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto assess technology needs and requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to support business objectives.
Manage and optimize cloud services, such as G-suits and Office 365.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and system outages, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and improve uptime.
Lead IT projects from inception to completion, including planning,resource allocation, execution, and documentation.
Evaluate new technologies and tools and make recommendations for adoption based on business needs and industry best practices.
Collaborate with vendors and external partners to procure hardware, software, and services and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in IT infrastructure and networking and proactively recommend strategies to enhance the company’s technological capabilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT engineering or a similar role, with aproven track recordof success in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Excellentproblem-solving skillsand the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in afast-paced environment.
Strongcommunicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withcross-functional teamsand communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or AWS/Azure certifications, are a plus.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
