Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Doha. This role is critical in ensuring robust internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, professional skepticism, and a proactive approach to improving business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal audit assignments across operational, financial, and compliance areas
- Evaluate internal controls and assess risk management frameworks
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements
- Prepare clear, structured audit reports and present findings to management
- Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation
- Support the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Assist in fraud risk assessments and special investigations when required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field
- Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5–8 years of internal audit experience
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk-based auditing
- Experience in IT, technology, or multi-industry environments is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in audit tools and Microsoft Office applications
- High level of integrity, independence, and attention to detail
