Senior Infrastructure Specialist Expert Jobs in Doha, Qatar at ByteCrew Technologies Pvt Ltd
We are hiring a Senior Infrastructure Specialist Expert to lead infrastructure design and operations across the client’s ISD data centre, cloud, and hybrid estate. The role owns server, storage, network, and virtualisation operations end‑to‑end, including capacity planning, high availability, and DR.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operations of enterprise compute (Windows / Linux), storage (Dell EMC, Net App, HPE), and virtualisation (VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V).
- Own data centre capacity planning and growth forecasting.
- Drive infrastructure high availability and disaster recovery design — including DR runbooks and drills.
- Govern infrastructure security hardening — CIS benchmarks, OS patching, configuration baselines.
- Lead hybrid cloud architecture and operations (Azure / AWS connectivity to on‑prem).
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
- Conduct infrastructure performance tuning and root cause analysis.
- Manage vendor relationships for infrastructure licences, support contracts, and refreshes.
- Mentor junior infrastructure team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Networking.
- 10+ years’ experience in enterprise infrastructure across compute, storage, and virtualisation.
- VMware VCP-DCV mandatory; VCAP / VCDX strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Server expert level — Active Directory, Group Policy, Power Shell scripting.
- Storage administration on at least one major platform (Dell EMC, Net App, HPE, Pure Storage).
- Strong working knowledge of network fundamentals (VLAN, routing, firewalls).
- ITIL v4 Foundation.
- Native or fluent Arabic AND professional English — preferred (not mandatory).
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Microsoft MCSE / Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Linux Red Hat RHCE.
- Backup / DR platform certifications (Veeam VMCA, Commvault).
- Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix, vSAN).
- Prior Qatar government infrastructure experience.
