Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulic Design Engineer with strong expertise in road infrastructure drainage systems. The role involves design review, technical evaluation, and coordination of hydraulic components including stormwater networks, culverts, and drainage systems to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate hydraulic and drainage design deliverables for road infrastructure projects
- Evaluate designs for stormwater systems, culverts, channels, and drainage networks
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local regulations
- Coordinate with design consultants and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Identify and resolve hydraulic design issues and technical gaps
- Provide technical input during design development and review stages
- Support integration of hydraulic systems with road alignment and civil structures
- Review hydrology studies, calculations, and design reports
- Participate in design review meetings and technical coordination workshops
- Ensure timely approval and submission of design deliverables
- Support value engineering and design optimization for drainage systems
- Maintain proper documentation of all design reviews and technical decisions
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in road infrastructure drainage and hydraulic design
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management and drainage systems
- Experience in reviewing hydrology and hydraulic calculations
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards
