As a Senior FM Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer at JASARA PMC, you will lead initiatives to establish and enhance our Facilities Management (FM) policies, standards, and guidelines. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of best practices and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the FM landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, review, and continuous improvement of FM policies and standards in line with industry trends and regulatory requirements
Provide expert guidance on the application of FM best practices and policies across the organization
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations impacting FM operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of FM policies and adherence to standards
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote understanding and compliance with FM policies among stakeholders
Oversee audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with FM policies and make recommendations for improvements
Engage with regulatory authorities and industry bodies to influence and align policies with current regulations
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on policy updates, compliance metrics, and strategic recommendations
Mentor and guide junior engineers in the development and implementation of FM standards and guidelines
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in facilities management with a focus on policy and standards development
Proven track record of successfully implementing FM policies and procedures
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in facilities management
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence change across multiple teams
Experience in conducting training and workshops on FM policies and compliance
Familiarity with quality management systems and audit practices is a plus
