As part of our expanding operations in the Middle East region, we are seeking an Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Reporting:
Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, analyse variances, provide explanations and actionable recommendations.
Build or modify financial models / what-if scenarios to ensure efficient and accurate revenue and expense projections.
Sales, Pricing and Cost Analysis:
Provide financial analysis on product margins.
Conduct pricing analysis and assess the impact of promotional activities, product launches, and discounts on profitability and sales growth.
Partner with the commercial/operational teams to optimise product profitability.
Monitor progress of cost-saving projects and provide recommendations.
Decision Making Support:
Collaborate with various departments to evaluate new initiatives and their financial viability.
Conduct ROI studies for new CAPEX and optimising resource allocation to support management in investment decisions.
Participate in ERP system enhancement; provide insight on setting up best practices.
Requirements &
Skills:
Must be Saudi.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CMA or MBA is a plus.
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the FMCG or consumer goods sector.
Manufacturing / costing experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
