CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is a major international company that works within the energy sector. They are currently in the process of expanding and are seeking a SeniorFinancial Planning and AnalysisExpert to be based in their Doha office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishingfinancial planning and analysisguidelines based on best practices and emerging trends to support the company’s strategic direction
Preparing and analysing corporate business plans to align with the company’s long-term objectives, ensuring integration of financial and strategic considerations
Implementing detailed budget development, capital structuring, and investments analysis (e.g. IRR, NPV calculations) to support the company and its subsidiaries
Preparing and delivering financial reports, including results and forecasts, for stakeholder presentations, ensuring the clarity and accuracy of the strategic insights conveyed
Continuously assessing and comparing the financial performance against strategic goals and key performance indicators to identify deviations and areas for improvement
PROFILE
Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. Preferably have an MBA or a master’s in Finance with a professional qualification such as CFA, CMA, CA, or ACCA
At least 10 years experience infinancial planning and analysis, with 3-5 years in a more senior role
Familiarity with market-leading ERP systems (Oracle preferably)
Strong knowledge of planning and management reporting systems
Knowledge of the energy and power international markets within large multicultural companies
Fluent in spoken and written English
