We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Controller & Contract Specialist with a strong background in financial control, audit, and contract management.
This role is ideal for candidates coming from a Big 4 audit background who have transitioned into financial control and are able to manage contractual financial risks and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Control & Governance
- Lead financial control activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and IFRS
- Manage financial reporting accuracy, cost control, and budget monitoring
- Strengthen internal controls and support audit readiness initiatives
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
Contract Management
- Review and manage contracts with a focus on financial terms, risk, and compliance
- Ensure contracts align with company financial policies and controls
- Provide financial input during contract negotiations and amendments
- Monitor contract performance, obligations, and financial exposure
- Work closely with legal and commercial teams on contract structuring
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Analyze and mitigate financial and contractual risks
- Implement best practices in financial control and contract oversight
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial control, audit, or related field
- Mandatory Big 4 experience (audit or financial advisory)
- Strong background in financial controlling, internal controls, and audit
- Proven exposure to contract review / management from a financial perspective
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS)
- Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
