Senior Financial Analyst – MIS Reporting Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Morgan McKinley
Our client is a major player in the regional and international financial services sector. They are looking for an experienced accountant to lead a team of MIS financial analysts.
Core
Duties
:
Work closely with the Heads of MIS and International reporting to compile and coordinate the budget preparation, forecasting, management reporting, and detailed analytical reviews for a number of business units.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve how business performance and quality are measured; take the initiative to raise the standard of MIS reporting practices.
Provide accurate information to external and internal auditors and the Compliance function as and when required.
Work closely with owners of various key business processes to ensure the adequacy of controls including the implementation of changes in operational processes.
Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all other related departments and units to achieve the Group’s goals and objectives.
Ensure compliance with central bank regulations, local regulators, and other local and international guidelines.
Assist in developing and training team members to ensure an effective and informative MIS reporting function.
Qualifications:
Educated to bachelor/master’s degree level in finance, accountancy, or any relevant subject.
Hold a professional certification such as CPA, CA, CIMA, CFA.
A minimum of six years experience in the MIS function of a major wholesale bank, with demonstrated managerial experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting processes and related pronouncements, including but not limited to IFRS, IAS, etc.
Advanced Excel and Access skills.
Proficient in the use of MIS tools/techniques including budgetary and transfer pricing mechanisms.
Ability to deliver under pressure.
Ability to build relationships across the organization to deliver results.
