Job Description: We are seeking a Sr. Finance Manager a senior executive who is responsible for managing and leading the finance & accounts division of a real estate developer in Dubai. The candidate will work in tandem with top management of the firm. Among their many responsibilities, oversee the capital structure and optimal financing options for the company, provide strategic direction, as well as track cash flow, manage the accounting and finance departments, and ensure the company’s financial reports are accurate.
The candidate will be responsible for building banking relationships, identify and arrange financing, Track all aspects of Receivables & Payables and provide management with a dash board on the activities and forecast on day to day basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract compliance and reporting.
Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
Oversee operations by coordinating with external agencies (ex: payroll, benefits, recruitment) and internal staff responsible for other aspects of HR
Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, APR status, keep management team updates
Manage finance personnel and financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities
Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and Auditing standards. Should be able to guide finance team and carry out all such task connected internal & external audit, tax filling etc.
Must be able to constantly keep fingers on company financial health and project fund flows, finance planning and provide management with dashboard of the company health and commitments.
Conversant with Dubai Land Department process and procedures like opening & managing Escrow accounts, getting fund released from Escrow accounts etc
Requirements:
Proven experience as Sr. Finance Manager, finance officer or relevant role in a real estate development firm or Real Estate BrokerageIn depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices followed in UAE
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP, Oracle Netsuite)
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
Certified Public Accountant a plus
At least 05 years Experience in a senior management role is a must
Minimum 15+years proven experience in accounting and financial management practice with at least 5 of them in UAE.
