Food chain in Madina is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience in multi-branch operations, and the ability to support financial reporting, cost control, and compliance activities across restaurant and cloud kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily accounting and finance operations.
• Maintain and oversee general ledger activities and accounting records.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Monitor branch profitability, operational expenses, and financial performance.
• Supervise accountants and bookkeeping staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Review daily sales reconciliations, cash transactions, and expense entries.
• Monitor food costs and operational expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, Zakat, and other applicable financial regulations.
• Investigate financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
• B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or ACCA (Part Qualified).
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, FMCG, or cloud kitchen operations is preferred.
• Experience managing accounts in a multi-branch environment will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
