Job Post: Senior Filler
Job Location: Industrial Area, Doha
Qualification: Secondary (12 Years) education or equivalent. Diploma in Technical education would be an added advantage.
Nature of Experience: Five (05) years of job experience including three (03) years working in the oil Refinery/ LPG Bottling Plant Operations.
Primary Purpose of the Job: Operate the machines on the production lines filling composite cylinders with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and participate in cylinder maintenance activities such as pressure testing of cylinders, repair of cylinder valves, casing, etc.
Principal Accountabilities:
Responsible for operating cylinder filling hall equipment efficiently and safely as per the LPG plant operations manual.
Responsible for checking, segregating, and repairing LPG cylinder pallets identified for operations such as replacement of cables, closing bars, repairs, and scrapping as instructed/required by the LPG Plant Operations Manual.
Assist the Production Senior Operator/Production Operator in all operational activities in the Filling Hall.
Prepare equipment and machines before start-up/shut down and participate in such activities in accordance with defined procedures.
Ensure all pre-fill and post-fill checks are properly carried out on LPG cylinders as required by the LPG Plant Operations Manual.
Perform duties of cylinder receipt/dispatch as per the loading requests received and document the delivery/receipt details.
Ensure the quality and safety of the LPG filled cylinders; document machine breakdowns, throughput, test/check results, etc. in the log sheets.
Perform duties required as an Authorized Gas Tester and carry out gas testing as per the instruction of the Plant Senior Operator.
Ensure the housekeeping of the workplace, including cleaning and washing of the equipment.
Safely handle cylinders, including stacking and de-stacking, loading & unloading to/from the trucks manually.
Operate fire-fighting equipment and perform roles as defined in the Emergency Response Plans.
Carry out other similar duties as assigned by the Production Senior Operator/Production Operator.
Salary: QAR 2200 (Accommodation & Transportation provided by the company)
