Senior Field Specialist – Thru Tubing Jobs in Doha, Qatar at lxbfYeaa
Position: SENIOR FIELD SPECIALIST – THRU TUBING
Responsibilities:
Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices.

Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & Protection of the Environment.
Demonstrates effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all colleagues.
Responsible for being familiar with the Company’s Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System.
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies & procedures, related operational & non-operational documentation.
Maintains service quality as an immediate priority and continually seeks areas for improvement.
Participates in Annual Technical Audits as required.
Provides installation and supervision of thru-tubing down-hole tools and equipment during offshore operations.
Assists in generating business to increase revenues through high level of service delivery and operational performance.
Supervises and trains junior field crews as necessary.
Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.
Resolves complex technical issues offshore and implements technical operating procedures in the field.
Performs installation services for retrievable bridge plugs, packers and service tools in the field.
Accurate & thorough completion of end of well and WPTS reports.
Available on a 24 hours call basis to respond to customer operations.
Complies with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual and safety rules of Weatherford.
Performs various other duties as assigned by operations supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years Well Services, Completions or Coiled Tubing/Wireline experience in the oil and gas industry.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Thru-tubing completions, packers and bridge plug operations.
Technical Degree or Diploma from University or College is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Thru-Tubing Fishing and Milling or Packer/Bridge Plug Operations.
Basic understanding of the different facets of field operations.
Awareness of the latest API Q2 and ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
Proficient in calculating basic oil industry volumes, pressures and forces.
Ability to work effectively on offshore platforms and drilling rigs.
Communicate clearly on operation critical parameters or requirements.
