About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive – Parts Planning to join our Parts Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, forecasting, inventory control, and timely availability of spare parts to support retail, service, and field operations.

This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and the ability to collaborate with internal departments and international suppliers to optimize inventory performance and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and forecast spare parts demand based on historical consumption and business requirements.
  • Ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate with OEMs/Principals regarding parts orders, pricing, warranty claims, and order follow-up.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain healthy stock turnover.
  • Manage spare parts replenishment and procurement planning.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, forecasting reports, and management MIS.
  • Handle warranty and parts claims with principals.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, Service, and IT teams to improve planning processes.
  • Support SAP/ERP inventory management, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, service level, fill rate, and inventory turnover.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular monitoring and reconciliation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Spare Parts Planning, Inventory Planning, or Supply Chain within the automotive, heavy equipment, generator, or industrial equipment industry.
  • GCC experience is highly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of spare parts planning and inventory management.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, formulas, reporting).
  • Knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, stock control, and inventory optimization.
  • Understanding of technical spare parts and product specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and international suppliers.
