Title: Senior Executive – Accounts (Reporting & Taxation)

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of statutory financial reports and regulatory submissions.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and submit UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Prepare and review Zakat and Corporate Income Tax filings for GCC entities where applicable.
- Reconcile VAT-related general ledger accounts and investigate tax discrepancies.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, GCC tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
Internal Controls & Audit
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls related to financial reporting and taxation.
- Support internal, external, and tax audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and required documentation.
- Identify financial and tax-related risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Business Support & Process Improvement
- Provide taxation and financial reporting guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and taxation processes.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other business functions to improve financial controls and compliance.
- Support ERP enhancements and finance automation initiatives.
Systems & Compliance
- Maintain accurate financial data within the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and quality management systems, including IMS, ISO, BRC, and GMP requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Taxation, VAT Compliance, or General Accounting.
- Hands-on experience with UAE VAT and GCC taxation requirements.
- Experience within Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Production, or Industrial sectors is an advantage.
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
