Blue line Factory is locking for a Senior Estimator as per the below:
The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability. The role requires analyzing project plans, collaborating with procurement and project management teams, and conducting market research to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Analysis & Cost Estimation – Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
Procurement Coordination – Work closely with the Procurement Department to collect and analyze material, service, and subcontractor pricing.
Bid & Proposal Preparation – Prepare and submit detailed project proposals, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and supporting documents.
Market & Risk Assessment – Stay updated on industry trends, market rates, and material costs to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to align cost estimates with project goals.
Project Performance Monitoring – Track actual costs vs. estimated costs, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
Value Engineering – Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or functionality.
Post-Project Evaluation – Conduct assessments after project completion to improve future estimation accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in estimation within the furniture and fit-out industry.
Proficiency in costing software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in estimation software, cost management tools, and MS Office
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED8,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
