Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talentedSenior Engineer – Civil / Structuretojoin our team! In this role you will get toreview and approve civil / structure submittals
from Contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local/international standards, and guidelines.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assess designs, calculations, and drawings from consultants for accuracy and compliance with local and international codes.
Review and approve the Civil / Structural submittals received from the contractors.
Facilitate alignment between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Act as a key liaison between government entities, contractors, and consultants to ensure smoothcommunicationand timely deliverables.
Participate in value engineering workshops to optimize design solutions while maintaining project objectives.
Ensure all deliverables align with contractual obligations.
Implement earned value management (EVM) to track engineering progress and deliverable completion.
Prepare technical reports on review outcomes and design compliance.
Maintain detailed records of submittals, approvals, and recommendations.
Support other engineering activities as required by the Lead engineer.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Be self-motivated and require minor supervision on committed tasks.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution/university.
10+ years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on construction oversight.
Experience in stadium or large public venue projects is required due to their specialized and complex nature.
Strong analytical,problem-solving, and excellent verbal and writtencommunication skillsin English is required.
Proficient in structural software: ETABS, SAFE, SAP
2000, and AutoCAD.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Experience in PMC roles is preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with earned value management and value engineering processes.
