Senior Electrical Technical Engineer Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at China State Construction Engrg.Corp LTD(KSA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical review of electrical designs, IFC drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables.
- Verify and challenge engineering calculations to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Perform and review electrical studies including:
- Load Flow Analysis
- Voltage Drop Calculations
- Short Circuit Analysis
- Protection Coordination Study
- Cable Sizing Calculations
- Earthing & Lightning Protection Design
- Fault Level Assessment
- Power Quality Analysis
- Review and coordinate MV, LV, ELV, Lighting, Emergency Power, Generator, UPS, and Earthing Systems.
- Identify design gaps, clashes, technical risks, and opportunities for optimization and value engineering.
- Support procurement teams in technical evaluations of vendors, suppliers, and specialist subcontractors.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical queries, and alternative proposals.
- Coordinate with consultants, design firms, project teams, and subcontractors to resolve complex engineering issues.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), SEC Requirements, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and international engineering standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project engineers and site engineering teams.
- Support design development, construction engineering, and technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
