BEC Arabia is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Electrical Procurement Engineer to join our growing team. This role is critical in supporting major construction and infrastructure projects by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven procurement of electrical materials and systems.
- Lead procurement activities for electrical materials, equipment, and systems.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure accurate material sourcing.
- Prepare RFQs, analyze vendor quotations, and conduct commercial and technical evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, planning, and project teams to meet project timelines.
- Identify and prequalify new vendors to expand supplier database.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and client requirements.
- Monitor market trends and material price fluctuations.
- Manage procurement documentation and reporting.
- 6+ years of experience in electrical procurement within construction or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and international standards.
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience in the Saudi market is a must
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
