Responsibilities
Supervise electrical jobs based on shop drawings and specifications
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and assess them against the project schedule
Ensure the availability of adequate quantity of electrical material
Provide input to Quantity Surveyor for interim payment applications
Conduct safety toolbox lectures to enforce safety regulations for individuals on the site
Raise inspection requests for work completed
Ensure work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures, and method statements
Implement strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
Reduce the wastage of material and increase manpower productivity
Interact with clients and consultants regarding the status of work
Complete necessary quality assurance documentation of work under direct control
Negotiate with clients and consultants for obtaining approvals for requested modifications
Update drawings to fit newly approved modifications for As-Built drawings
Check all installations in the preliminary stage
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical
4-7 years in MEP
Skills
Soft Skills: MS Office, AutoCAD
Technical Skills: Execution of building services as a contractor like power, lighting, MV, LV, cables routing & termination, earthing, electrical panels, control systems, low current implementation, testing & commissioning, etc. Capable of supervising detailed engineering works, coordinated shop drawings, technical submittals, liaison with consultants, coordinate with various disciplines, and site supervision.
