Senior Draughtsman Jobs in Dubai, UAE at Al Shirawi Enterprises LLC
Job Responsibilities
Produce architectural & I.D shop drawings independently for small projects and collaborate with architectural technicians on large projects.
Coordinate with material engineers for various materials during shop drawing detailing.
Coordinate with the in-house joinery production department to ensure workable and cost-effective joinery details in shop drawings.
Coordinate with the Operations team (Site engineers & Project Managers) to provide adequate drawings for site execution.
Maintain and organize project files, schedules, and specifications, ensuring all documentation from contractors, suppliers, clients, authorities, consultants, and subcontractors is filed according to the Technical Department procedures.
Conduct site visits and assist construction and production teams with technical issues.
Attend progress meetings internally and on-site (if required) to ensure timely approval of technical drawings.
Coordinate with pre & post QS to ensure technical details are accurate.
Maintain and update RFIs, CVIs, and clarifications, supported with 2D & 3D illustrations using CAD and hand sketches.
Handle additional design tasks delegated by the Head of Department (HOD).
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma in AutoCAD.
1-3 years of experience.
Proven skills and experience as a Draughtsman.
