Senior Draftsman Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Al Emadi Stones
Responsibilities
- Prepare fully detailed shop drawings showing required fixation and fabrication details, along with technical solution for connection details with neighbouring trades aligned with design drawings.
- Develop cutting lists, layouts, and detailed drawings for fabrication and installation on site.
- Develop the illustration sketches with cutting lists showing the tag-numbers to insure homogeneity and/or book-matching, if required.
Coordination
- Work closely with site engineers, designers, and project managers to align drawings with project requirements.
- Modify and update drawings based on site conditions or client changes.
Technical Review
- Interpret and review architectural and structural drawings for stone applications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Production Support
- Provide factories with accurate dimensions and material details for cutting and polishing.
- Assist in optimizing material usage to reduce waste.
Skills & Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software (mandatory), Revit & 3DMax (preferable).
- Strong knowledge of marble types, patterns, installation techniques & details.
- Ability to interpret complex architectural drawings.
- Attention to detail and strong coordination/communication skills.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the stone or marble industry.
