Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opening for the position of Senior Director (Uptown Development). This critical role encompasses the strategic planning and execution of the Uptown Development initiative, aimed at creating a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood that embodies the ethos of modern living, entertainment, and cultural enrichment.
As the Senior Director, you will oversee all aspects of the development process, from site selection and design to project delivery and stakeholder engagement. Your leadership will inspire a diverse team of professionals to collaborate creatively and efficiently while ensuring the project aligns with Qiddiya’s overall vision and investment goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Uptown Development vision, ensuring the project meets strategic objectives and fosters community engagement
Oversee project planning, coordination, and execution, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Conduct comprehensive market analyses and feasibility studies to guide decision-making and project scope
Foster and maintain relationships with governmental entities, community stakeholders, and key partners
Infuse innovation into the design and planning processes, encouraging creative solutions that enhance livability and sustainability
Manage risk assessment strategies, implementing proactive measures to address challenges that arise during the development lifecycle
Report on project progress and developments to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
At least 14-18 years of relevant experience in large-scale development projects, with a focus on urban or mixed-use developments
Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of market dynamics and real estate development processes
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders
Experience in the entertainment, tourism, or hospitality sectors is an advantage
Proficiency with project management software and design tools is beneficial
