Description
* This role is responsible for the e2e software delivery and release capability – from CI/CD pipelines through to the Kubernetes platform and infrastructure underneath it – ensuring everything can be released into production in a controlled, reliable, and automated way
* Lead engineering and operations of Kubernetes environments using Azure Kubernetes Service
* Build and scale infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring consistency, reusability, and control
* Implement configuration management and automation using Ansible
* Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps, including deployment strategies, approvals and rollback patterns
* Take ownership of release management across a hybrid environment, improving structure, governance, and reliability
* Act as the technical escalation point for complex platform and production issues
* Drive automation across build, deployment, and operational processes using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Support both Linux and Windows Server environments with consistent configuration and hardening practices
* Embed SRE principles, including monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement
