We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager – Landscape to lead the planning, design, and delivery of landscape masterplanning and public realm initiatives across large-scale developments in Madinah. This role offers the opportunity to shape high-quality public spaces, drive placemaking strategies, and contribute to landmark developments while ensuring design excellence and alignment with the overall masterplan vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead landscape masterplanning and public realm design activities from concept through detailed design and implementation.
- Manage and coordinate landscape consultants to ensure design quality, innovation, and compliance with project objectives.
- Review and guide landscape design deliverables, ensuring integration with architecture, urban planning, infrastructure, and environmental requirements.
- Drive the development of placemaking strategies and high-quality public realm environments that enhance user experience and community value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams to support successful project delivery.
- Ensure landscape designs align with sustainability objectives, project standards, budgets, and delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in landscape architecture, landscape masterplanning, and public realm design.
- Strong experience delivering large-scale developments, major masterplans, and preferably giga-projects.
- Proven experience working with leading developers or top-tier international design consultancies.
- Demonstrated expertise in landscape masterplanning, placemaking, public realm design, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Strong stakeholder management, consultant management, and design review capabilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across complex project environments.
Preferred Background
- Experience working on major urban developments, destination projects, mixed-use communities, or giga-projects.
- Strong understanding of sustainable landscape design principles and public realm best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver design excellence across complex projects.
