Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Privacy-Data Protection (PDPL) Specialist tojoin our teamin Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will have strong implementation experience, expertise in gap assessments, and a deep understanding of privacy protection principles and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Key Responsibilities:
1. PDPL Implementation:
Lead the implementation of PDPL compliance programs, ensuring effective data protection and privacy practices.
2. Gap Assessments:
Conduct thorough gap assessments to identify areas for improvement in data protection and privacy practices.
3. Privacy Protection:
Develop and implement robust privacy protection policies, procedures, and controls.
4. PDPL Expertise:
Provide expert guidance on PDPL regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
5.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate data protection and privacy risks, ensuring the organization’s compliance with PDPL regulations.
6. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and regulators, to ensureeffective communicationand compliance with PDPL regulations.
7. Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on PDPL regulations, data protection, and privacy best practices.
8. Continuous Monitoring:
Continuously monitor and assess the organization’s data protection and privacy practices, identifying areas for improvement.
Skills
Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in data protection and privacy, with a focus on PDPL implementation and compliance.
– Strong understanding of PDPL regulations and data protection principles.
– Proven experience in conducting gap assessments and implementing data protection and privacy controls.
– Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in afast-paced environmentand prioritize multiple tasks.
– Fluency in English and Arabic (preferable)
