Detail the methods, systems, interfaces, and corporate cost and planning reporting functions to ensure Contractor’s daily, weekly, and monthly cost/planning reports reflect actual work achieved against planned schedules and programs.
Take appropriate corrective action as necessary to maintain schedules and targets.
Ensure that the cost and planning requirements of the contract can be met and that the proposed forms, schedules, and contractor’s reports shall present cost and planning information adequately.
Prepares the statement of requirement (SOR), the execution strategy of the project, and the budget cost estimate.
Provides the inclusion of relevant planning, scheduling, and cost control clauses.
Contracts administration procedures of the tender document and approval and monitoring of cost and planning controls after award of contract.
Prepares monthly master plans in the form of a schedule prepared for each project showing its progress up to the end of the reporting month expressed against original plans.
Reviews the appropriate project controls clauses of the tender documents and amend those where necessary with regard to the scope of work requirements.
Prepares tender project execution plan for inclusion in the tender document.
Discusses the adjusted clauses and the tender project execution plan with the project group and the contract engineer prior to finalization.
Assists in the evaluation of the project controls element with the Technical and Commercial Evaluation Committee.
Recommends for awarding to the LTC/GTC Committee.
Examines the details of the plan (submitted by the contractor) and be satisfied that the levels detailed therein represent a realistic and achievable assessment of the duration to be accomplished and that conformity to the contractor’s tender submission is maintained.
Advices the contractor accordingly where adjustments and changes are necessary.

Work Experience:
10 Years experience in Cost and Planning works with at least 4 years with Civil Engineering and Contracting projects
Other Requirements: A high proficiency in written and spoken English. Good engineering and contracts skills.
