Worley Consulting is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Consultant / Project Manager – Ports & Marine for our Ports & Marine Service Line in the EMEA Region, based in Abu Dhabi.
Primary responsibilities
- Manage studies and projects within the Ports & Marine service line
- Act as Senior Consultant in delivery of Port Consulting and Engineering Services
- Ensure technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous search for improvement
- Promote cost-reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives
- Perform site visits and inspections, data gathering activities and technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works
- Participate in design review and advise on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as appropriate
- Maintain cost and quality control on projects in accordance with Worley procedures
Qualifications
- Preferably more than 15 years (10 years minimum) relevant experience in the Port Engineering Industry and 5 years as a Project Manager
- BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or similar
- Project management skills and certifications
- Ability to travel within the Middle East region
