Our client, a highly regarded organisation operating within financial services, is seeking a Senior Manager to join a specialist risk supervision function focused on technology-enabled business models.
This role offers the opportunity to oversee a portfolio of subsidiaries operating across innovative and evolving segments of the financial services landscape. Acting in a hands-on capacity, you will lead the monitoring and assessment of risk across allocated entities, engaging directly with senior stakeholders to evaluate governance, controls, and overall risk exposure. The position involves conducting detailed reviews, analysing both financial and non-financial data, and identifying emerging risks that may impact business models or regulatory compliance.
You will be responsible for forming clear, evidence-based conclusions and supporting the implementation of appropriate remediation actions, ensuring that identified issues are addressed within agreed timelines. Alongside this, you will contribute to maintaining a consistent and forward-looking approach to supervision, aligned with broader organisational risk frameworks.
As a senior member of the team, you will also act as a technical reference point, providing guidance on complex risk and regulatory matters while keeping abreast of industry developments and evolving standards. There is an expectation to contribute to wider initiatives, including the enhancement of supervisory approaches, internal processes, and cross-functional projects.
