In this crucial role, you will take the helm of our commercial operations, guiding strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance our market position.
As the Senior Commercial Director, you will be responsible for devising and implementing robust commercial strategies across all sectors of the business. You will lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration while ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s overarching goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing our commercial performance, identifying potential business opportunities, and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, investors, and clients.
Your role will also require you to conduct market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, enabling the organization to capitalize on emerging opportunities. This position demands a strategic thinker with a passion for the entertainment and leisure industry, adept at navigating complex commercial landscapes.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to drive revenue and maximize profitability
Lead and inspire the commercial team, fostering high levels of engagement and performance
Manage relationships with key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and partnerships
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Monitor and analyze commercial performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Support contract negotiations and manage compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and synergy across business units
Mentor and develop junior team members, cultivating their skills and career growth
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred
A minimum of 16-19 years of relevant experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably within the entertainment, hospitality, or leisure development sectors
Demonstrable success in developing and executing strategies that drive significant revenue growth
Strong analytical skills and experience in performance management
Exceptional negotiation and contract management abilities
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Proficiency in commercial management software and tools
A track record of effective team leadership and mentorship
