Senior CloudOps Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar at سنونو
Qualifications
- 6+ years in a Dev Ops, Cloud Ops, or SRE role owning infrastructure for large-scale, distributed production systems
- Deep AWS expertise across multi-account environments – Organizations, IAM, VPC, ECS, RDS, Secrets Manager, and cost management tooling
- Advanced container orchestration experience, with strong hands‑on ownership of ECS (EC2 capacity providers, task definition lifecycle, service autoscaling) and/or Kubernetes in production
- Production‑grade database operations experience: schema migrations, performance tuning, connection management, and failover on PostgreSQL and/or other relational/No
SQL engines
- Proven track record designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions) across multi‑team, multi‑environment delivery workflows
- Fluency with observability stacks – metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting – using tools like Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, or Open Search; experience reducing observability costs at scale is a plus
- Advanced IaC practice with Terraform or Pulumi: modular design, state management, drift detection, and multi‑account rollouts
- Strong automation and tooling development skills in Python (primary) and/or Go; comfortable building internal platforms, not just scripts
- Solid networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancing, security groups, VPN, and the ability to diagnose production connectivity issues without a runbook
- Experience operating under compliance frameworks (PCI‑DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001) – building controls into infrastructure, not bolting them on afterward
- Comfortable working with engineering leadership to translate infrastructure decisions into business outcomes: availability, cost efficiency, and delivery velocity
