Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer – Steel Structure Contracting
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in steel structure contracting. The successful candidate will oversee steel structure projects from planning through fabrication, erection, and completion, ensuring quality, safety, timely delivery, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise steel structure projects from start to finish.
- Review structural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Supervise fabrication and erection activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract requirements, and applicable codes.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Prepare project reports and maintain project documentation.
- Lead and mentor site engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in steel structure contracting.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tekla Structures, STAAD.Pro, or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing industrial and commercial steel structure projects is preferred.
