Job Summary
Mobco Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our project team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess strong site execution and construction management experience, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale and mega construction projects. Experience in hospitality developments will be considered a strong advantage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising civil construction activities, coordinating with project stakeholders, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting the timely delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review construction drawings and identify technical and constructability issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved schedules and project milestones.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
- Coordinate with the Architectural, MEP, and Technical Office teams to resolve site-related issues.
- Review method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging, and project handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in civil construction and site engineering.
- Proven experience on mega construction projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site management, and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- Mega project experience is mandatory.
- Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period.
- Previous experience with leading contracting companies is preferred.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is highly desirable.
