Sama Salt Company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in land development and road construction to support the expansion of its salt works operations. This role is highly execution-focused and requires direct involvement in site activities, with responsibility for managing works using company resources and rented equipment rather than relying on a main contractor. The ideal candidate is hands-on, field-oriented, and capable of driving productivity in remote site conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
▸ Supervise and execute large-scale excavation, filling, grading, and embankment construction
▸ Oversee construction of internal roads and site infrastructure
▸ Manage site execution using rented equipment and in-house resources
▸ Plan and monitor daily activities, productivity, and work progress
▸ Coordinate and manage heavy equipment operations
▸ Control construction costs, equipment usage, and resource efficiency
▸ Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
▸ Coordinate with internal teams and report progress to project management
Requirements:
▸ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
▸ 10+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE
▸ Experience managing equipment-based execution models
▸ Soil testing experience required; lab experience preferred
▸ Valid UAE residency visa & UAE driving license – mandatory
▸ Good knowledge of AutoCAD and project planning tools
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: AED 12,000 – 14,000/month
