Supervisor – Commissioning & Testing
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Overview:
The Supervisor will oversee commissioning and testing activities for water and power projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and contractual requirements. The role involves on-site supervision, coordination with EPC contractors, and independent verification of test results.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and witness commissioning tests at project sites for power generation, storage, and desalination facilities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
Review and validate test procedures, protocols, and reports submitted by EPC contractors.
Coordinate with engineering teams, inspectors, and clients to address any technical issues.
Provide expert feedback, recommendations, and independent assessments of test results.
Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities, findings, and corrective actions.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance during testing and commissioning.
Manage access permits, including CICPA passes, if required for restricted project sites.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in commissioning, testing, and quality assurance for power and water projects.
Strong knowledge of CCGT, OCGT, Solar PV, Wind, BESS, and RO plants commissioning.
Experience in conducting compliance evaluations and technical reviews.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, ISO, ASME, etc.).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi during test schedules.
Relevant engineering degree and professional certifications preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
