Senior Carpenter (Joinery)
Key Responsibilities
* Execute joinery and carpentry works as per approved drawings.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Supervise and guide carpenters and workshop helpers.
* Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
* Ensure high-quality workmanship and finishing standards.
* Take site measurements and assist with installations when required.
* Monitor material usage and report requirements to the supervisor.
* Ensure work is completed within project timelines.
* Follow health, safety, and workshop procedures at all times.
* Coordinate with workshop and site teams for smooth project execution
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in joinery, carpentry, or fit-out projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing, woodworking techniques, and installation processes.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and train carpenters and workshop helpers.
- Good measurement, cutting, assembly, and installation skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and workshop procedures.
